Battalion during a field training exercise. Not sure if these were taken near Neu Ulm or if they were taken in Wildflecken where 2nd ARB 41st Inf would go to the “field” as they called it.
 
Looks like my father was evaluating this Sergeant on his use of an Aiming Circle.
 
My father; you can see the 41st Inf crest or Distinctive Unit Insignia (DUI) on his cap. Love the carton of milk, the ones we’d buy in Germany at the Commissary, still remember the packaging and labels.
